The City’s public hearing on the FY2023-24 draft Annual Action Plan (AAP) is on Tuesday, April 4 at 7 p.m.
Background
This public hearing is an opportunity to comment on the draft Annual Action Plan (AAP), which outlines how federal dollars will be used to support affordable housing and community development in the upcoming fiscal year (July 1-June 30). These federal dollars come from U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development programs including the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG).
The City uses these programs to help to address the needs of low- and moderate-income persons. Eligible uses for these funds include:
- Homelessness support;
- Affordable rental unit development;
- Housing rehabilitation; and
- Homebuyer assistance.

How to sign up for public hearing
If you would like to speak during the draft AAP public hearing, sign up no later than Monday, April 3 at 5 p.m. You can find full public hearing guidelines and submit the sign-up form at this link.
Accommodations for disabled or non-English speaking residents will be made available upon request. The City offers interpreter services in other languages, including American Sign Language, at no cost to the speaker.
