Eric Tulsky, General Manager of the Carolina Hurricanes, announced that defenseman Domenick Fensore has been assigned to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Fensore, 24, played in one NHL game for the Hurricanes this season. In the AHL with the Wolves, he recorded 15 points in 17 games. Last season, he appeared in two NHL games for Carolina and made his league debut against Montreal on April 16. During the previous AHL campaign, Fensore ranked second among Chicago defensemen in goals, assists and points with 32 points over 67 games.

The Thornwood, New York native has played a total of 123 AHL games for Chicago, collecting 63 points. Fensore was selected by Carolina in the third round of the 2019 NHL Draft and spent four seasons at Boston University before turning professional.

Tulsky said: “Eric Tulsky, General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has assigned defenseman Domenick Fensore to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League (AHL).”

Fensore’s collegiate career at Boston University included tallying 85 points over 122 games.
