Eric Tulsky, General Manager of the Carolina Hurricanes, announced staff changes for the upcoming 2025-26 season. These changes include promotions and new hires across various departments.

In player development, Daniel Bochner has been promoted to a full-time Development Coach position. Previously working part-time from Russia, Bochner will now relocate to the United States to support players in Raleigh and Chicago.

In hockey operations, Kevin Kan has been promoted to Lead Software Developer for Hockey Systems. Earl Schwartz has moved up from Compliance Assistant to CBA and Salary Cap Analyst.

The equipment department sees Jorge Alves promoted to Head Equipment Manager in his 21st season with the team. Bob Gorman will continue in a reduced role as he plans for retirement. Patrick Budds is now Assistant Equipment Manager, while CJ Reif joins as Equipment Assistant after his time with the AHL’s Chicago Wolves.

Koryd Lavimoniere joins the athletic training staff as Assistant Athletic Trainer, bringing experience from roles with the Springfield Thunderbirds, San Antonio Rampage, and Norfolk Admirals.

A new full-time Nutritionist role sees Kristin Pirigyi promoted from her previous position as Nutrition Consultant.

The pro scouting department welcomes Zach Ellenthal from Rogle in the Swedish Hockey League and Dennis King as a Pro Scout.
