U.S. Senators Ted Budd and Thom Tillis have announced their support for Dan Bishop, the nominee for U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of North Carolina. Bishop is a former U.S. Congressman and has served as Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget.
Senator Budd stated, “Dan Bishop is an experienced America First patriot with a distinguished private sector legal career, making him an excellent choice to serve as the next U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of North Carolina. I have no doubt that under Dan’s leadership, communities in North Carolina will be safer, as he will execute the safer streets priorities I share with President Trump to prosecute dangerous criminals, enforce federal immigration law, hold drug cartels accountable, combat the evils of human trafficking, and boldly stand up for law enforcement.
