Representative Brian Echevarria, a Republican member of the North Carolina State House representing the 82nd district since 2025, has recently shared several posts on his social media account discussing property taxes, government involvement, and family life.

On March 29, 2026, Echevarria criticized liberal politicians in a post stating: “They’re OUT OF TOUCH but I fixed the title. Liberal politicians, who think voters are too dumb to read or get an ID to vote, DON’T want you to have protection against vicious property tax increases. ‘s It is a shame that we need to legislate not taxing the snot out of North https://t.co/nEJDdcRbuV”.

Two days later, on March 31, 2026, he commented on government policies and their impact on citizens: “Government shouldn’t be in the way its people doing well. An oppressive government can express itself in many ways; this is one. The angst our tax code causes is crazy. #ncpol #northcarolina https://t.co/OEnB6EJXym”.

In between these posts, Echevarria also highlighted a personal moment involving his family on March 30, 2026: “One of the best parts of spring is supporting my wonderful daughter. The purple people eaters are looking forward to an exciting season! #familyisourstory #northcarolina https://t.co/4UkDivLktC”.

Echevarria succeeded Kristin Baker as representative for North Carolina’s 82nd House district following his election in 2025.
