Representative Brian Echevarria, a Republican serving North Carolina’s 82nd House district since his election in 2025, has recently shared several statements on social media addressing political engagement and legislative matters.
On August 1, 2025, Echevarria posted about his personal experiences, stating, “I have been to 41. How about you?”
Two days later, on August 3, he commented on the state of political discourse: “Unfortunately, political turmoil will likely intensify. Working across aisles is easy, there are kind people everywhere. Like it or not; working across worldviews and philosophies is another thing and those don’t always have party lines. #ncpol”
Later that same day, Echevarria addressed a specific piece of legislation: “North Carolinians are in agreement with HB318. Here is a little clarity to defuse the fearmongering and misrepresentations out there. #ncpol”
Echevarria was elected to represent North Carolina’s 82nd House district in 2025 after succeeding Kristin Baker. As a member of the state legislature, he has focused on both constituent outreach and clarifying legislative issues for the public.
